Counselor Leadership Training Program

The Counselor Leadership Training Program targets high school teens who are interested in developing their skills as a leader, deepening their relationship with God and serving children. This program will hone the talents of selected high school teens.

The Counselor Leadership Training Program consists of a two tier training module.

• Orientation- Four day training
• Weekly Staff Training Sessions- Five 1.5 hour training sessions on Wednesday afternoons

The topics to be included during the trainings are:

Focus on the call of the Gospel to serve
Christ as Servant Leader
Communication skills
Conflict resolution
Team building
Different styles of prayer
Multicultural sensitivity

Qualifications:

Currently in 9th, 10th, 11th grade
Highly motivated, energetic, and responsible
Willingness to pray in a group and share faith
Must submit application, two recommendations; be interviewed
