Youth Ministry (YM) in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia oversees a variety of large diocesan-wide programs and vicariate initiatives, and helps parishes bring Youth Ministry to their young people in line with “Renewing the Vision.” In addition, leadership training opportunities are provided for both adults and youth.
The mission of Youth Ministry, as guided by “Renewing the Vision,” has three goals:
- To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.
- To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the Catholic faith community.
- To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.
